C2B (Paybill & Till)
Accept payments initiated by customers via the M-Pesa menu.
How it works
C2B (Customer-to-Business) occurs when a customer manually enters your Paybill or Till number into their M-Pesa menu. KiPay captures these payments and notifies your system via webhooks.
Registration
Add your shortcode on the Channels page in your dashboard, then click Register. On the default managed rail, that's it — KiPay already owns the confirmation/validation URLs on Safaricom's side, so there's nothing else to configure.
Bringing your own Daraja app (advanced)
If you've opted into Direct Daraja in Settings, register these fixed KiPay URLs in your own Safaricom Daraja portal instead:
These URLs belong to KiPay, not to your own server — Safaricom calls them directly and KiPay forwards the event to your webhook.
